Scarpa Rapid Gore-Tex Man Shoes

Adding all-condition versatility to the best all-round alpine show we offer , the Rapid GTX offers nearly limitless possibilities. This hybrid shoe is equally adept at logging miles, jumping rocks, and navigating intermediate slabs. The all-synthetic upper is lightweight, protective, and backed with GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit lining for waterproof protection.

The dual-density EVA midsole provides a more trail-running shoe-like ride, but we've added a TPU arch insert for torsion control and our Dynamic Protection System insert in the forefoot for added protection, propulsion and edge ability. The Vibram® outsole features high-friction Megagrip rubber and a welt area under the big toe for unrivaled friction and traction.

Vibram

Vibram® is the most specialized brand in the research and production of rubber soles for sports and especially for outdoor use. The research focuses on grip, performance and endurance.

Vibram sole is a special sole technology produced to increase softness, flexibility, durability and grip. Vibram's unique combination of foam and rubber is formulated to create the perfect outsole.

Ortholite

Ortholite is an open-cell PU foam with great resistance to compression set (less than 5% compression set). The open-cell PU construction provides exceptional breathability and the formulation also contains 5% recycled rubber content, providing enhanced rebound while also reducing impact on the planet.
