Scarpa Furia S Climbing Shoes

Scarpa Furia S is extremely soft and sensitive, providing the climber with a barefoot-like experience with excellent grip ability. The asymmetrical, downward-turned shape with a medium to high angled toe provides toe sensitivity with a high level of flexibility.

Scarpa Furia S Features

Upper : Multi-panel upper with seamless big toe panels and offset four-toe stitching for the best custom fit (7). The wavy band system distributes pressure throughout the upper part and provides wide volume adjustment. Highly flexible angle iron provides easy entry.

Active Ranging : The IPR active randing system gives the shoe a high level of flexibility and maintains tension from the forefoot to the heel. SRT toe system with M50 rubber for unrivaled toe hook ability.

Insole : Minimal Flexan 1.0mm midsole insert with floating big toe pad for ultimate sensitivity.

Sole : 3.5 mm 1/3 length XS Grip 2 sole and handmade 2 mm XS Grip 2 heel.

IPR Tension System

The IPR-Tension system is designed to work in conjunction with SCARPA's SRT system. Integral Power Rib connects the heel to the front of the shoe. This system is perfect for providing maximum foot freedom with minimal intervention. The IPR-Tension system allows gripping foot movement and ultimate smearing.

SRT Surround Rubber

SRT is the basic technology of the Soft Line Chimera, Drago and Furia S models. It's a layer of our ultra-soft M50 rubber that hugs the forefoot and transfers power directly to the tips of the toes. It also provides maximum friction and sensitivity for the toe hook. Climbing in soft shoes improves one's climbing style and naturally strengthens toe strength. The complete freedom of placement of the foot promotes a faster and more dynamic movement on rock or plastic.

M50 Rubber

M50 Rubber is our softest rubber compound that optimally adapts to the natural curves of the foot and toes. Developed with Davos®, this shape-shifting rubber compound delivers a 50 Shore A rating, making it perfect for use in our SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around the shoe upper
