It is easy to use in your washing machine, fireproof and PFC-free. Waterproofing properties for Softshell Products: Easy-to-use washable waterproofing for softshell garments. It adds water repellency to areas where it is needed most and revitalizes breathability without the need for drying. It improves the performance of your equipment, keeping you warmer and drier. Recommended for Windstopper®, Schoeller® and all other softshell garments. Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is easy and quick to apply in the washing machine, and its high Durable Water Repellency (DWR) improves upon air drying. The washing machine treatment allows the process to pass through the garment, treating the seams, tapes and cords as well as the fabric. Additionally, since the need for tumble drying is eliminated, this saves energy and protects more delicate, older clothes from the heat. Nikwax SoftShell Proof™ Wash-In is specifically designed and optimized for softshell garments; It creates a flexible water repellent treatment that maintains breathability by allowing moisture vapor to pass through on the individual fibers.
