To trace the history of Scarpa means to take a journey into the evolution of Italian traditions over the last seventy years. Above all, to discover the extraordinary insights and special sensitivities of the Parisotto family. A family of performance, refined and friendly, with the ambition to transform mountain boots, a modest and useful product, into the truest symbol of Italy.

A path arising from the crafts in which skills and organization techniques were gradually acquired, accumulated an action in which the sense of time was strong. In ancient times it took years to become a master, passion and talent were required. It generates emotion, in other words, the shoes' job is to seduce the unpredictable.

Scarpa's Technical and Sole Features;

While preparing modern mountain boot production, it is done by representing the unique blend of traditional boot making skills and modern technology.

When designing a single product, the characteristics of a wide variety of footbeds are taken into account.

Scarpa has worked specifically with the world's leading sole manufacturers (Vibram and Skywalk) to develop soles that will meet these different requirements and performance features and to offer them to people.

PRO-PULSE SCARPA® + Vibram sole developed to achieve exceptional performance. The distinctive WAVE design and the properties of the latest generation dual-density polyurethane facilitate swaying and shock-absorbing stages when walking.

Vibram XS Grip2

Vibram XS GRIP2 represents the natural evolution of Vibram XS GRIP. Vibram Vibram XS GRIP2 is recommended for situations requiring maximum grip.

Vibram XS Edge

Developed to provide maximum edging support, the VIBRAM® Thanks to its improved resistance to plastic deterioration, it retains its shape even after hours of use. It provides a consistent feel in hot and cold weather and is formulated for improved durability.

Vibram Speyder

Designed by Scarpa and developed by Vibram, this new concept sole has a rubber outsole with a different design. The hexagonal suction cup in the center of the sole guarantees excellent traction, while the shaped contour ensures good grip. It has a dual-density thermoformed EVA midsole to guarantee comfort and stability.

Vibram Total Traction WMN

The new Total Traction Vibram sole unit maximizes traction performance and increases cushioning. It is at the heart of our mountaineering range. Used in boats such as the Mont Blanc GTX & Phantom Guide and Total Traction, a new approach stands for comfort, lightness and climbing precision.

Outdry

OutDry® is an innovative Italian technology that waterproofs shoes , gloves and other textile items where standard production techniques based on seam-sealed waterproof fabrics cannot be used. Thanks to the OutDry® patented lamination process, the waterproof/breathable membrane is bonded directly to the outer layer of the shoe or glove, perfectly sealing possible water entry points.

PrimaLoft® insulation products deliver superior performance for high-quality cold weather equipment. PrimaLoft® is lightweight, breathable and has excellent waterproofing, so you stay dry, warm and comfortable in even the harshest conditions.

Vibram

Vibram® concentrates its industrial design activities, management, new technology and new product development in Albizzate, in the Italian province of Varese, to ensure that its customers benefit from reliable and constant quality wherever they are. Vibram® has commercial and manufacturing facilities in the United States, Brazil, Japan and China.

V–Flex

"V-FLEX SYSTEM" is the ergonomic design of the upper in the ankle flexible area. It allows the foot to move more widely and naturally. The upper part, which creates synergy with the lacing system, wraps the foot optimally and offers maximum comfort and support.

Thanks to the "V-FLEX SYSTEM", the overall comfort of the shoe and its ability to adapt to the movement of the foot, even when walking on steep paths with heavy bags, have been further improved.
